The Expanse

I just finished watching the latest episode of The Expanse on Amazon Prime. Wow.

Prior to watching the episode, I blazed an intention for Strength, and afterwards journaled the following:

The Human Condition

I just ate a sea salted chocolate edible and blazed on my balcony with a small spliff with the intention Strength.

Jimmy and Spliff are out there somewhere… homeless… lost. The human mind is so clever. Spliff’s mind has convinced himself that he is loving the street life. The call of adventure. Freedom. In reality, he is in a prison… of his own mind.

I am not sure where the deep root of his darkness and pain is. He is seeking death I think.

I have been suffering the same trap. Our minds have so many tools and tricks to convince our selves that “everything is okay” and that is true.

However, everything could be and is better that the current situation if we intend it to be.

It is a subtle, subtle shift in perspective. We need to embrace some… the “right suffering”. The “right suffering” is actually not suffering. It may be pain… It is being uncomfortable.

Suffering is optional.

We need to push right through the fear to the point of Courage. This has the same harmonic feeling in the heart as Gratitude and Love. It is the sensation when meditation is done properly. Zen.

It is on the same vector as the infinite God Molecule experience… Or the intense feeling of flow when doing dangerous activities.

This is Life.

“Fear is your best friend or your worst enemy. It’s like fire. If you can control it, it can cook for you; it can heat your house. If you can’t control it, it will burn everything around you and destroy you. If you can control your fear, it makes you more alert, like a deer coming across the lawn.” -Mike Tyson

After I wrote that, I watched The Expanse. Wow. What an episode and what a storyline.

The Expanse has been a constant story of the Human Spirit. It has the sacrifice for the good of all as a constant theme for the heroes of the story. In the latest episode, Miller is carrying a nuke into Eros station, to detonate the energy source of the proto-molecule organism. He discovers the center has manifested with the consciousness of Julie Mao, the love that he chased across the System, and finally found.

Miller convinced the proto-molecule consciousness to divert its path from destroying earth to crash into Venus instead, and he did it by showing it love. It gave me a message of the importance of humanity. It is because we are a channel for the Energy of the Universe… God… love… As a collective, we are definitely not doing things right… We are destroying the planet, unconsciously fighting with each other over power, but we can love.

With super intelligence coming, how can we teach it to love?

What an episode to watch blazed.
